Day 1: June 1st Arrival in Arusha
  • Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)

    • Meet and greet with your expert local guide

    • Private transfer to your luxury lodge in Arusha

    • Relax and unwind after your journey

    • Welcome dinner and trip briefing

Day 2: June 2nd Exploring Arusha – Cultural & Responsible Tourism
  • Breakfast at the lodge

  • City Tour of Arusha:

    • Central Market: Experience the vibrant local life, fresh produce, and handicrafts

    • Shanga – Responsible Tourism Initiative: A social enterprise where artisans with disabilities create stunning handmade souvenirs

    • Cultural Heritage Centre: Discover Tanzanian art, history, and craftsmanship in this fascinating cultural hub

    • Optional other hotel/lodge inspections

  • Lunch at a local restaurant with traditional Tanzanian cuisine

Day 3: June 3rd -Journey to Tarangire National Park
  • Depart for Tarangire National Park (2.5-hour drive)

  • Game drive in Tarangire:

    • Home to Tanzania’s largest elephant herds

    • Scenic landscapes dotted with ancient baobab trees

    • Abundant wildlife, including lions, leopards, and diverse birdlife

  • Picnic lunch in the park

  • Check-in at a luxury tented camp

  • Sunset sundowners

Day 4: June 4th -Tarangire Safari & Cultural Encounters
  • Early morning game drive – prime time for spotting predators in action

  • Visit the Hadzabe Tribe:

    • A rare opportunity to meet one of Africa’s last hunter-gatherer tribes

    • Learn about their ancient traditions, tracking skills, and way of life

  • Visit the Datoga Tribe:

    • Known as Tanzania’s blacksmiths, the Datoga people create metal tools and jewelry

    • Cultural exchange and storytelling

    • Site inspections at other lodges.

  • Dinner under the stars at the camp

Day 5: June 5th -Ngorongoro Crater – A Natural Wonder
  • Breakfast and early departure to Ngorongoro

  • Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater:

    • Often called “Africa’s Eden,” this UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to the densest concentration of wildlife in Africa

    • Spectacular sightings of the Big Five: lions, elephants, rhinos, leopards, and buffalo

    • Visit the hippo pool and spot flamingos on Lake Magadi

  • Luxury picnic lunch inside the crater

  • Continue the scenic drive towards the Serengeti (3-hour drive)

  • Check-in at a luxury tented camp in the Serengeti

Day 6: June 6th - Serengeti Safari & Hot Air Balloon Experience

  • Full-day safari in the Serengeti National Park:

Day 7: June 7th -Serengeti Safari & Tree-Climbing Lions
  • Morning game drive focused on the famous tree-climbing lions of the Serengeti

  • Final safari moments capturing Tanzania’s wildlife

  • Farewell dinner in Arusha (if time allows) before evening international flights

Day 8: June 8th - Transfer back to Arusha for your flight home.
