Day 1: May 19th or 20th Arrival in Entebbe (EBB)

  • Activities:

    • Arrival at Entebbe International Airport, greeted by your local guide.

    • Private transfer to your hotel for check-in, relaxation, and preparation for the trip.

    Arrive and unwind in the serene surroundings of Entebbe. Enjoy a relaxing day to prepare for the exciting conference ahead.

    May 21st:
    Kick off the conference with engaging informational sessions led by industry speakers. Participate in one-on-one meetings with Uganda’s top service providers and hotel representatives.

    May 22nd:
    Attend the Trade Show and continue networking with one-on-one meetings. Explore opportunities to connect with suppliers and learn about Uganda's travel and hospitality offerings.

    May 23rd:
    The conference continues with additional sessions and networking opportunities, deepening your understanding of Uganda’s unique travel landscape.

    May 24th:
    Enjoy a Fun Day and Boat Regatta to celebrate the conclusion of the conference. Network in a more relaxed setting and soak in the beauty of Uganda’s lakeside scenery. For some, this may also be a departure day.

    May 25th:
    Depart for the above chosen FAM Trip

Day 1 - of Fam Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary May 25th

  • Morning Activity:

    • Depart early for a 3-hour drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.

    • Enjoy a guided walking safari to track white rhinos. Learn about the sanctuary’s efforts to protect and breed rhinos as part of Uganda’s conservation program.

    • Birdwatching opportunities at Ziwa include sightings of the Abyssinian ground hornbill and saddle-billed stork.

  • Afternoon Activity:

    • Continue the journey to Murchison Falls National Park (approx. 2–3 hours).

    • Visit the top of Murchison Falls, where the mighty Nile River forces its way through a narrow gorge only 7 meters wide, creating a thunderous waterfall.

    • Short guided hike for panoramic views and incredible photo opportunities.

  • Local Highlights:

    • Murchison Falls NP is Uganda’s largest and oldest conservation area, with a stunning mix of savannah, woodland, and riverine landscapes.

Day 2 Game Drive & Boat Cruise in Murchison Falls National Park

    • Early morning game drive in the northern sector of the park.

    • Wildlife to spot includes lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, oribis, hartebeests, and patas monkeys.

    • Explore the savannah, acacia woodlands, and riverbanks for unique ecosystems.

Day 3 Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

    • Stop in Fort Portal for lunch and a chance to stretch your legs.

  • Afternoon Activity:

    • Visit local communities to learn about their daily lives and traditional practices.

    • Guided tour of a tea farm, from harvesting to processing, with an opportunity to sample fresh tea.

  • Local Highlights:

    • Kibale Forest is a biodiversity hotspot and the primate capital of the world, hosting 13 primate species.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

  • Morning Activity:

    • Embark on a guided chimpanzee trekking adventure in Kibale Forest.

    • Track these highly intelligent primates as they forage, groom, and interact in their natural habitat.

    • Learn from experienced rangers about the behavior and conservation challenges of chimpanzees.

  • Afternoon Activity:

    • Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park (approx. 3–4 hours).

Day 5: Safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park

    • Game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, a prime area for spotting lions, elephants, and Uganda kobs.

    • Learn about predator-prey dynamics and the park’s conservation efforts.

  • Afternoon Activity:

    • Boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake Edward and Lake George.
